Abigail Erin Griswold

Abigail is the eighteen year old daughter of Richard and Brenda Griswold. She is currently a student at Liberty University, where she is studying Teaching English as a Secondary Language and minoring in Spanish and Global Studies. In Lynchburg, she is heavily active in her church, Gospel Community Church. She is a part of Campus Serve on the weekends and weekdays. There, she leads Bible studies and builds relationships with the locals of Lynchburg.

Abigail’s platform, “Caring for Others Outside of Yourself”, is about looking to the needs in your own community and lending a helping hand. This past year, she has volunteered her time in various activities in building relationships with people. She has had the opportunity to help paint with Habitat for Humanity. She has been able to offer babysitting needs to her community at no charge. She has also reached out to the elderly in her community, as well as reaching out to people who just need someone to talk to. Abigail has a huge heart to serve people and desires to build strong relationships with them. She loves lending a helping hand when she sees the need. For Abigail, this has not only been a platform, it is her lifestyle.
